Once around the island this morning. The weather is pretty much the same as yesterday, blowing and not super warm. A bit more cloudy, may get rain at some point today by the looks of it.

Went to the market to get a few more things. Only about 1/2 of the vendors are open today and the fish vendors are not out on the street. The have shops in the buildings fronting the street. Did not bring my camera, so no pictures. Also the stage that we saw last night was for students. There must have been 200 or more of them. They were doing some speeches. Not sure exactly why.
Lunch walk, the student thing was pretty much over with just a small group leftover and they were listening to a broadcast. We went across to the mainland and picked up some groceries.
Another walk before supper, the winds are not quite as strong but still blowing.

For supper we made pasta alla norma. ( with eggplants and fresh tomatoes that I got at the market today). The tomatoes were 35 cents a pound. After supper we planned part of what we are doing this weekend. We also booked a place to stay. It is what they called an agriotoursmo, usually these are old farmhouses in the country that have been turned into a kind of B&B. The web site is all in Italian, managed to book it we think, we shall see when we get there!
Only one cache on that part of the island. Found over 200 during our trip so far so a big difference.
