Westjet has decided a couple of our
last vacations and they did it again this year by introducing a
direct flight from Halifax to Paris. Introductory flight prices were
fantastic, we booked the day they became available.
We were able to work on Friday as it is
such a late departure on Friday, one less vacation day needed. Marc
and Mary-Sue are travelling with us again this year, they picked us up, we will leave their car in Halifax for the
week. Halifax airport is undergoing major renovations, we were told
to give at least 1 hour for security, but we walked right in.
New
restaurants are open inside security, had a great dinner. The
manager had been to Paris many times and gave us a couple of places
that we must try for food, including ice cream spots so Andre is
happy.

It is only a 5.5 hour direct flight, hoping to fall asleep as soon as we board so we can arrive up and ready to go!
