Hike

 18,000 steps

Started off this morning with a hike from Sorrento towards Saint Agate. We went up 300 meters over 3KM, lots and lots of ups. Beautiful views of Sorrento, the surrounding mountains, water, and Mount Vesuvius in the background. Found different trail down and so glad we did it the way we did as many many steps on the way down. Going up was more just steep hill climbing with not as many steps. Near the end came across a little church and the stages of the cross. There is no way this church is used very often, lots of steps to get to it. Guessing they probably do an Easter or Christmas service here. It was a beautiful morning, only saw 4 other people on our walk.

Stopped at a bakery and picked up some delicious baked bread for lunch back at the apartment.

Just time for a quick clean up and turn around at the apartment and we are off to the cooking class we booked yesterday. One other couple from the US with us, lots of fun. We make gnocchi, eggplant Parmesan, and lemon tiramisu. She had prepared some things for us before dinner as well. It was lots of fun and entertaining, a great instructor.

Back home by 7:30, it will be an early night as we have an early start tomorrow. There was a little rain when we walked home from our cooking class, hopefully it will be nice out tomorrow as we have outdoor activities planned again.
