Cloudy Tuesday

The usual morning walk around the island. Already been 5 weeks and still very much enjoy the walks around the island and in town.  Always see something new or something you have not noticed before.

On the way home at the end of our walk, we stopped at the market and picked up calamari for supper and a loaf of bread. The bread is almost a daily routine as it is on .6 of an euro, less than $1 Canadian.

Most house only have single balconies unless the are mansions or have recently been renovated. This is an exception

Lunch time walk, we headed to town to pick up a wine glass to replace the one I broke last night.

They don't clean the walking path too often by the rust on the beer caps

Happy that we have a washing machine at our place even if we can only put 5 kg per load.

decided to go for a walk before supper tonight. We visited the Duomo but it was closing, will return again at some other time. Walked around the streets a bit to reach the 20,000 steps. Wendy was done but I still needed a bit more, so one more small loop and lucky me, we walked by a gelateria and stopped for a yummy 2 scoop gelato, pistachio and tiramisu.. The tiramisu was good but the pistachio is still my go to favorite.

Cooked the calamaries for supper. Yummy. After supper, we went to the fountain square to see the fountain. I had heard it was going to be blue in support of Autism Awareness Day.

Surprise, Gelato

WIFI Speed is great surfing the web as it is usually over 10 mb but the upload is super slow. Point 4 of a mb. Sometimes I have to upload the same picture 2 or 3 times before I can post it on blog but I am surviving and happy to be here. Not too bad when this is your biggest problem in life.
