The usual morning walk with a stop at the market. We picked up vegetables to add to the leftover chicken for a curry for supper. Also picked up a load of bread as they often don't last more than 1 day.
A little bit chillier and cloudy this morning.

Outside our apartment, could be a long day |
Lunch time cruise. Taking the boat tour around the Island and to the Caves has been on our agenda since we have been here. We are quickly running out of time, and it is dependent on wind and sun when we go. Since it is a pretty nice day and not overly windy, and Wendy has no appointments scheduled right after lunch we decide today is the day. There are vendors all over this island trying to get you to go with them, but one young man has been nice to us since day 1, says hello every day, so I think we may have shocked him today when we said we wanted to go. Wendy was a little afraid how rough it would be, but the tour does not go far from shore. We are the only 2 on our boat tour, a private boat tour for 20 Euro each, which lasted 1 hour. Our captain was a kid, 19 he told us, but it is the 3rd year he has been doing the tours and this is the first year he is allowed to pass under the bridges. We asked him how many he takes on the boat when it is busy, he said 16, but if the coast guard is around it is 14. Very funny, a nice guy that spoke pretty good English. We were only able to go into the biggest cave, but it is still not very big, he surprised us when he turned the boat around inside the cave, he has definitely done this before.

A nice walk before supper. We were planning on doing one before and one after but ended up doing an extra long one instead. We HAD to take a break for a gelato of course. Wendy had a granita which is similar for a sorbet but more granular. Wendy choose Lemon as her flavour.

Made the chicken curry for supper. Enjoyed a bottle of rose wine with it. It went well together.
Talked to Nancy on Facebook, got all her updates on her and Rons trip so far as they got to Florence on Tuesday, and will be joining us in Sicily a week from tomorrow.
