Another broken wine glass Monday

Start off today with our typical walk to go get our car from the free parking zone to return it.  Notice the time difference, it is much cooler out this morning.  Last night we parked as soon as we found a spot, usually we go get gas first then park.  So this morning we needed to get gas before returning the car, they charge you 18Euro to fill up the car if you return it not full to the rental agency.  We are a little early today so decide to go to the market and get groceries before we take the car back.  Back to the rental and no problem with the gunk on the car, one of the women there told us she thought they were done with that trick.  I wonder how many tourists actually pay them if they stop to speak to them, I guess some or they wouldn’t still be doing it.

Very empty parking lot compare to being full on the weekend

Rubber mark on the car

I could use one of these

We are noticing some changes around town, I guess April brings more tourists.  The ZTL signs are being changed, more restrictions for where you can drive if you are not a resident.  We also see a new platform being built over the water at our lunch break.  It will be fun to see how long it takes for this to be completed.
The big boats use cheap kids beach balls for bueys

Some of the larger boats. They must unload their fish somewhere else

The stern of the big wooden boat that been parked here all month

Men at work

Reminded me of  Survivor building their shelter.  2 people working, lots of people giving ideas

3 boat tours at once. On a Monday????
No Pickleball here, just tennis

Supposed to be good and cheap, so many places to eat.

Snorkeling for sea urchins

On our little street.

For supper, we had leftover chilli that we had taken out of the freezer for Sunday night but we had supper out instead. I did manage to break another wine glass. These are the easiest ones to break I ever seem.

Went for a walk around  8PM to finish our 20,000 steps. We walked into the center of town and a little bit on the waterfront. We only needed about 3000 steps but ended up walking almost 5000. Very calm night and a nice walking temperature, probably around 15 degrees.

they have propane heaters. The only busy place tonight

At the Duomo

Very calm tonight

Restaurant row by the waterfront

Would not fit in most of the streets we walk on

  1. Maybe you should buy your wine glasses by the half dozen. It would same you the trouble of shopping every 4 days. Lol. Is it the drying rack or the persn washing the dishes?
