Day 7 Palermo Art Tour & City tour

Up early this morning and Andre is the tour guide for Palermo street art.  We are staying in the Palermo district and have seen so much artwork, but if you get up early before the shops open and their doors are still closed you will see so much more!

Stalls setting up for little shops later today

Love this one, don't the sheets look real!

bicycle store, door in door

Opening up his bike shop

Yerba Tea you drink out of a straw.  So many people carrying gourds around and sipping on them

We then took the subway to the city center for our last free walking tour of the City Center

lunch was just a little over $10 again
This is where we had lunch before the tour, we asked for the bill to pay, this is what we were given lol

Tour guide and his homemade speaker extension

9 de Julio Avenue with a lot of people means you wait a couple of lights

Eva Peron on the building (Evita)

Fresh squeezed orange juice in the square, delicious!

The tour ended at the palace and we knew the waterfront wasn't too far so we were off.  First fun was finding a bathroom, that was not fun, always challenging in a big city.

After the tour of the Waterfront we grabbed the subway back to our bed and breakfast, not busy at all.  Decided to hit up the little bar around the corner from us, then pick up some empanadas for supper back at our bed and breakfast.  Another fun day done.

Empanadas menu, many choices

Supper coming out
