Day 5 Iguazu Fall Argentina side

Today we are visiting the Argentina side of the falls.  This side involves lots of walking on raised boardwalks that you really need decent shoes for.  Again we arranged pickup at our hotel, then we are off.  We chose to do the falls in Brazil first because of customs and not sure how much time it would take, good thing we did as yesterday we were gone for about 12 hours.

Map of Argentina side of falls.  Lots of trails to follow, but unfortunately the 2 best viewing points are closed due to a large storm that washed out the walkways.  They expect them to open up again in a couple of months

These bugs make a high pitch noise

Train that takes you to the beginning of the upper walkways

Beautiful viewing points

Walking over the falls, much different than yesterday

Bonus, even saw some capuchin monkeys, they were pretty cheeky

Misting station to cool off

Lunch at the falls

Before we left we heard and read so many people say that they liked the Argentina side of the falls better, we differ, we preferred Brazil.  Perhaps if all the viewing points had been open in Argentina we would have a different idea.  Either way highly recommend doing both sides if you have time.
