Day 8 Last Day

Our last morning.  Snorkelers have decided that packing wet bathing suits is just fine.  We are not leaving our rental until around noon, so lots of time for a swim.  First off watch for dolphins from the wall and say goodbye to the iguanas.

This was our first trip to Curacao, and definitely won't be our last.  We still have so much of this small island left to explore!

Pool, our condo never made it into the pool, we preferred the really big pool right beside the little pool, the one with the fish

Next trip we plan to BBQ
Our condo for the week.

Drive back to the airport

Gas for the week. About $55 Canadian

Hand written license plate number, would that fly at home?

Leaving Willemstad

We had to spend the night in Toronto since there was not enough time to make a connection to NB.

At supper we had crayon and drew our favorites memories of our trip.

Our big souvenir from Curacao plus a fridge magnet

Wendy is sleeping before we even takeoff.  Anyone surprised?????

After our quick stop for a pic at Jeremi beach yesterday we have decided to spend the morning here.  Our neighbours at the rental told us this is where they have seen a seahorse this week, so we are on a quest.  It is another gorgeous day, forecast was for rain every day, we only saw rain in Willemstad for a few minutes.

Andre playing with camera settings again

Brave guys jumping off the cliff

Success, we found a seahorse!!!

We had thought it might get busy with locals in the afternoon so hadn't packed a beach lunch, so returned to Marazul for an afternoon snorkel at "home" and lunch

I think we were trying to finish up leftover liquor at this point too

Supper tonight is back at the Blue View sunset terrace.  Andre has not taken the plunge in the Iguana on the menu, maybe next time

Mango, so yummy
