Day 7 Friday Rethimno

Off today on our morning walk again.  It is about a 1 hour return walk to the end of the boardwalk along the beach

Tractors are out today starting to clean up the beach

Lunch time walk to the museum where there is a photobook exhibit.  Not sure if it was work the 3Euro entrance fee, but I guess they have to pay the guy that sits at the entrance.  We were the only 2 that had visited today by noon.  It is so off season here, we did see one tour bus today, it was them and us and I think that is about it for tourists here today. Also confusing that we read that all museums are closed now in Greece, maybe if they only have more than 2 visitors a day?

Notice how this photo exhibit just nails the photos on the wall

Wendy liked this wall photo exhibit with a few floating pictures

Andre's favorite, wonder why, must be the perfect blue sky
After our visit at the museam we took some different back streets home for Wendy to finish her work week

Spring flowers are starting to come into blossom everywhere

First time we have had lunch on our little balcony overlooking the pedestrian street below us.  Why do pedestrian streets allow motorcycles and scooters?

Finished work shortly after 5 and decided to walk along the beach.  Many more people out walking at this time of night, lots of families.   We usually walk the town in the evenings, fun to see everyone out tonight

Lots of mist/salt in the air tonight, surf is up, it is windy

Not much business for taxis

Pizza oven, we will have to try this one day

FIrst time we have noticed this mountain range

A Hungarian traditional bread that you choose the topping for, will go back one day to try it
We have rented a car for tomorrow, off to find some nice views and a few little walks.  Who knows what Andre has planned....
