Day 12 Apartment

Second post of the day:

This is where we stayed for the 10 days we were in Crete.

Oranges are cheap here, about .5 of a Euro per kilo, so we had freshly squeeze OJ juice every morning.  Going to miss that

Wendy at her office desk also known as the kitchen table for most people.
Many apartments have solar hot water heaters which has an override for cold cloudy days.

We put the decorative chair in front to the steps going down to the street for our safety.

Made stuffed eggplants for lunch.

The news were doing drome photos of the empty streets in from of our apartment since all store are closed except for Groceries, pharmacies and banks.

Cleaned out the fridge as we are leaving in the morning

Fried Cheese flambeed with ouzo
We had a 2 bedroom place as we were expecting company.  Below us was a small floor on the street level. The 2 bedroom were on the second floor with a full bathroom. The main floor had a half bath laundry room combo plus the Living Room, Kitchen and Dinning Room. The 2 bedroom had balconies as well and there was a large sundeck on the roof with a view of town, mountain and the water. We did not use it as the second week was colder and windier.
