13,000 steps
Today we have bus tickets to take us to our next stop in Puebla, which is about 2,5 hours bus ride from Mexico City.
First off we decide to go for a walk down Regina Street to see the murals in the light, without all the bars open. It is only a couple of blocks from our apartment, and will do us good to get a walk in before travel day.
Back to the apartment, pack up and head off to catch the metro bus to the ADO bus station. This will be the last time using our metro card so pass it along to someone working at the bus station for them to use.
The bus station is very nice, not so nice outside, but very nice once you get inside. The 2.5 hour bus ride passes very quickly, naps were involved. It is actually only about 100KM between the cities, but with the traffic takes over 2 hours.
Andres SIM card is still acting up so it took a bit of creative free wifi to order an UBER from the bus station in Puebla to our apartment. Did manage to get it sorted, and UBER it is. Luckily the hotel right outside our apartment has no security on their wifi, so we were able to tap in to let our host know that we have arrived. We are in a small studio here, which would be a very nice room in a hotel. The studio is in a fantastic location. We unloaded our suitcases a bit then headed off exploring. After the hustle and bustle of Mexico City we are loving the much more laid back atmosphere here. The architecture here is amazing, can't wait to do more exploring.
Supper found at a taco place, then back to the apartment for the night. Talked about going out for a walk, but just too lazy. Looking forward to our free walking tour tomorrow, hopefully it will not all be in Spanish.
