Dublin

Our first full day in Dublin

View from our apartment

Ten penny Bridge

Today we got tickets to go visit Kilmainham Gaol is a former prison in Kilmainham at 10AM.  We caught a bus from downtown then Andre wanted to walk through a garden/park for the last couple of KM.  Well, garden/park is locked, starting today on a great foot!

We loved this tour, it was recommended by Gilles and John and so glad we did it.  Our guide was fantastic, lots of interesting stories and Irish history.

Gate to the park that is not open yet

After our prison tour we were able to tour the park that was closed on the way here.  Beautiful English gardens, lots of people out walking their dogs, or spending family time

Modern Art Museum

We walked back to the city core.  Had a quick stop at Guiness Storehouse to check it out, didn't purchase any tours.

Camino starts here, St James Church in Dublin

Stopped for lunch at Jackies and a drinks. The call in a pizza as they have not kitchen but 4-5 pizza on the menu

We did a guided tour of St. Pathrick's Cathedral.
