Dublin - Book of Kells

The big thing for today is we have purchased tickets to see the Book of Kells at the Trinity College Library at 12:30  .  After doing one last load of laundry we are off to walk towards Trinity College until we can get into the Library.  All in one washer Dryer that takes about 3 hours and is still not 100% dry.

Oscar Wilde Statue

upper scale houses

Lots of betting places

Because it is the beginning of the school year we see lots of parents with their kids exploring the campus.  Lots of disappointed people as they didn't realize you needed to prebook to get into see the Book of Kells.

Trinity College Campus

After finding out where to get in to see the book of Kells, we explore the Trinity area.

Back at Trinity

Long Room at Trinity College, maybe the most beautiful library we have ever seen, but way too many people!

Loved the ladders

Decided not to do the whiskey tour at the whiskey museum

Found a cool pub instead and enjoy some food & beverages

Courtyard restaurant at a neat shopping center

Visited St. Stephen Park, not too much to see besides a few swans

On the way back to the apartment

Stopped for a drink at the pub right around the corner from our apartment

Tall ship in Harbour

Supper on the other side of the canal/Japanese/Asian which was very good. A nice change from pub food
