Slept in a little later than normal today, I guess the time change was taken into account. A couple of weeks later than North America, but now we are back to the `normal` time difference.
Decided to go into old town for some breakfast at an English Pub that we heard was good. They only opened at 10, so we passed by there and ended up eating at a restaurant that has a nice view of the water. It was a nice breakfast, typed up the trip report from Seville yesterday and enjoyed listening to the waves. After what turned out to be a day with a few showers yesterday it looks like it will be a beautiful day today. Vendors are out today around town, this is the first time we have really seen this. We bought a table runner and serviettes, and I bought a little bracelet, that’s pretty much it for our shopping so far.
Back to the apartment and we decide to pack up and go to a beach for part of the afternoon. The beach Andre picked is about a 15 minute drive from here. Turns out to be a beautiful beach in a town called Olhas de Agua, This is a cute little town that looks like it would be fun to spend some time in. Whenever we visit these little towns I wonder if it is one that Granny & Grandpa visited. When I last saw Grandpa in Sept he told me he would send me some of their favourite towns and restaurants they had visited, unfortunately he didn’t get around to it before his passing, so it leaves me guessing and thinking of them often. We lucked out on this beach, saw an egret, lots of sandpipers, and some dolphins quite close to the shore. Anyway another nice beach found, and one that we will go back to do walk one night after work next week.

Following a couple of hours on the beach we head out to find a concert hall in Ferreiras. We had seen posters about an accordion concert going on this afternoon at 3 with musicians from 4 different countries and we thought it would be fun. We had asked at breakfast how to find this place, so we had vague directions, and after stopping once more to ask we did eventually find it. The admission was 10 euro each, but we found out this included sangria, OJ, sandwiches, meats, cheese and trimmings at the intermission. Supper done. Andre got us 2 glasses of wine before the concert started. It cost him 1.4 euro which is about 2 bucks canadians. The musicians were so different, there were 6 total, 4 of them were quite young, in their 20`s , and the others were older. So, we had a real mix of music. There were a couple of hundred people there, and I think only 2 other tourists, no English translation here. So, we did not understand any of the jokes, but we figured out when to clap, and did enjoy ourselves.

Back home, we’ve been on a couple of walks, one for milk for tomorrow, and one just into town to walk around and see how many people try to get us into their restaurant for supper. I’m all packed for my trip to London tomorrow, would rather be staying here, but it should be a good trip. Our time is going by so fast! Andre will be busy while I am away, I look forward to reading his reports...
