Devils Bridge & Long Bay Beach

Today we decided to go see Devil Bridge and then spend the day at Long Bay Beach.  Once again about 30 minutes drive. Everywhere on the island seems to be 30 minutes max.

Goats crossing the road at their leisure.  One way to control how fast people are driving I guess.

One part had very narrow road for about 2 KM

This is not traffic. It's a store with no parking on the property. So they just park on the road while they go shopping. The same for small restaurant, bar and fruit stands.

Sorry Andre but Wendy is driving

A short visit at Devil's Bridge

At Long Bay we did a snorkel outing on the right side of the bay.  This area had a few more people, there are a couple of resorts on the beach, but definitely not crowded where we set ourselves up for the afternoon.  One of our better snorkeling days.

Andre went for a short walk to check out the vendors and also got a beer. A captain offered to take us to Green island for $65 US each. Got his info and decided we will contact him if we want to go

Daily special at a small place overlooking the bay. ECD and US prices.

We rented 1 chair at the beach.  The owners of the AirBnb lent us 2 folding chairs for the week. No umbrella needed and we found some shade.

We stopped at Betty's Hope plantation for a visit but they were closed.

Sorrel and rum for the girls while Andre is enjoying his rum & coke

AC only in the bedrooms. the fan did the job in the rest of the house

The view from out balcony again

Small cruise ship

A couple of the 200 feet+ anchored in Falmouth harbour. The most we saw was 3 of these huge lots at once in the harbour
