Sept 22,
Woke up and not feeling great. Told Andre to go visit the town by himself.
Andre took the shuttle into town which is only about 3KM
He did a quick visit to the main mosque in town and checked out the small mom & pop stores which he likes to do.
A visit to the public beach which is full of locals enjoying the beach, mostly the kids in the water. Many glass bottom boats trying to get you to do a tour.
Not many people visiting the Aqaba castle.
Now almost noon and an ice cream was in order. He stopped at a place he had seen yesterday and it overlooked the harbour where we took the glass bottom tour. You can see the ferry going to Egypt across on the other side of the Red Sea.
On the way back to the hotel, he checked out more stores in old town but lots of them were closing for lunch time.
Took a taxi back which should have been just a little over 2 JD on the meter, he wanted 5 settled for 3.
Andre walked to the mall behind the hotel but none of the stores were open (mid afternoon break). The grocery store was open and he got a couple of snacks for a late lunch.
We spent the afternoon at the pool.
At 6 PM we headed back to the mall and checked out the store. A mixture of North American stores and Local stores. Got a few more snacks for supper
