Day 7 Day 5 on Camino, Happy BDAY

Happy Birthday to me!  What a way to spend a birthday.

I was my most tired today walking, maybe because I am older ha ha.

We drove a little way to start off this morning, a long walk scheduled and it is very hot out.

Sunrise at hotel this AM

Hotel we stayed in last night

There are these huge dogs around here that are kept to protect the sheep and cows at night from wild boars and wolves, they are huge dogs!

Laundry day, pretty much walk right through this persons yard

Coffee break for some at this bar

On my own again this afternoon, this place you have a beer, sign the bottle, then they decorate with it

Had lunch at a spot where an old man came and give us a big talk while we were waiting outside on how this used to be his property and how he had planted the trees etc.  Paul was with us and told us we better get up and go inside for lunch or we may be here all day listening to him, it was very funny.
Car at our lunch stop

Only one of these people understand what this man is saying, we all look like we know what he is talking about.

Huge trees along this part of the walk, I still fail at selfies

Found someone to take my picture!
Hit the 20km mark left today, tomorrow is going to be an easy day.
Finally saw my first grape orchard, it was just small but fun to see grapes on the vines.

Daniella treated all of the girls to wine tonight.  Tonight is the only night wine is on our own, Paul said there is not many dinner options that are good near our inn, so he ordered supper for us, but wine is on our own.  We are in a beautiful manor again, a little rain in the air, but a nice glass of wine under an umbrella of grape vines.

Where we spent the night, even a little chapel on the property.  Plus a great umbrella tree by the front entrance to have a drink while it is raining.
