Antibes

Today we are off by train to Antibes by train. No issues with transportation today, thank goodness.

Spent the first part of the morning walking through old town and along the rampart. A nice market, too bad we would have had to carry any purchases around for the entire day. Found some sea glass on the beach, something none of us were expecting. Stopped for lunch at a beautiful spot overlooking the water, got nice cod fish and shrimp this time, except for poor Joey. Returned Joeys plate, came back and still not edible, so much for lunch for her. They good news was it only cost her the price of the wine.

Stop for ice cream in the square, very yummy. Walked along the waterfront until time to catch a train home. We all really liked Antibes, beautiful little streets for exploring, a nice beach. We see why many choose to make Antibes their choice for vacation.

Step count 25,000 or 16km.

In Antibes

Not Tim's prices

Spent a lot of time in Old Town. Some streets were full of shops and some residentials

Post delivery

So many cheeses, sausages and ham to choose from.

We will wait a while before we get fresh asparagus since these were the first crop of the year

The restaurants were much larger here than in Nice Old Town

We visited a small church

The crypt

Walking 5 or 6 dogs

The wall surrounding a good part of the city

Lots of artist shops in the wall

At the fisherman corner of the harbour

Easy for you to say, you are not even open today.

At the cathredral

We then walked the ramparts and the beaches

The Picasso Museum

Searching for sea glass, got a few pieces

A mixed bag at lunch. Joey's fish was a dud but Wendy's was good. My beef brochette was also very good.

Yes we did

Mega yachts

Citadel on the other side but we did not make it there

After Happy hour we went for a walk on the promenade
