Yesterday was a sea day, with someone organizing a "meet and Greet" from cruise critic board that I follow. NCL had tea/coffee and snacks set up. I like going to these, there is always someone looking for people to join their private tour to save money, or just some hints found out. We did not stay long, but did get to meet a few people. This size ship you always run into the same people, it is not one of the mega ships that seem to be the only things being built now.

Loo with a view for Andre on the ship, womens room did not have this |

Long drive to our destination today to visit penguins. Many ship vans were doing the same tour, but we found the company online that owns the reserve and booked directly with them for 1/2 the price. They have had rain lately so roads were really messy. |
|
Wild Guanaco's on the drive. They jump over the fences, so they go wherever they want |
El Pedral is where our final destination is. This farm used to be only a farm but about 20 years ago penguins started showing up. They have a gold mine now, they serve you a lamb lunch, then you take another short drive to where you walk about 1.5 km to the beach, the penguins pretty much are right from where you start the walk.

Magellan penguins is what we will see. They are everywhere, you stay on a little dirt trail but they don't care and will walk right in front and behind you. |

Yes, we are that close to hundreds of penguins! |

It started to rain and very windy when we got to the beach. Would have liked to stay longer here. |

In the distance you can see penguins on the beach, we really thought they were people at first! |
Back at the main ranch to use the bathroom and get ready to head back to the ship
Thoroughly enjoyed today, could do this over and over and over
what an amazing adventure. Can't wait for whenever we go.
