Fundy NP July 2021

 Another weekend in Fundy National Park.  We have a yurt for the weekend.

A foggy drive there this morning, hopefully it will clear up as we have a mid morning tee time.  We are taking our golf club for a round of golf aka 2 times 9 holes as it is a 9 hole golf course.  It is also a hilly course, so we splurged and got a golf cart.

Fog has cleared up but now we are stuck behind a slow moving camper on twisty road.

An afternoon storm rolled in. Hoping it clear out as we have a reservation to go Paddle under the Stars tonight on Bennett Lake.  Luckily for us it did. Lots of fun and highly recommended. No charge for the tour, only have to pay for the kayak rentals.

Day 2

Today we decided to do the Third Vault Falls.  Lots of mushrooms along the way.  The falls are the highest in the part.  A nice 7KM hike. 3.5 each way.  The last 3/4 KM is the most challenging.

Very busy at the restaurants in town. We had made reservation at the Octopus Garden Cafe.  It is our favorite place to go out for a meal.

Day 3

A foggy morning today.

Today we did a short hike to go see Dickson falls.  One of our favorite.

Our next hike is a bit longer. We did Matthews Head. A 5KM hike with gorgeous views.  Wendy's favorite.

We then drove down to Herring cove beach where we had lunch since we were already in the area.

We then met Brian and the family in Moncton for Ice Cream

Another fun weekend in Fundy.  We are so lucky to have it not too far from home.
