The inn provided us with box breakfast which we had in the bar area. After checking out we drove to see 2 old houses that I had seen on the way in but had not stopped.

We then headed to the Cabot Links golf course and checked in for our tee time. What a great course and I can see why Gold Digest ranked it #6 in Canada. It is like you were playing in Scotland. Fescue, mound, angulating greens. Every hole is interesting. Jean-Guy and Jackie took caddies but we decided to push our cart since we had carted the last 4 rounds. We saw rain coming but figured it would pass us by, wrong but it only lasted about 15-20 minutes. With the warm breeze we dried up quickly. The course follows the ocean for many holes with very few trees to protect you from the wind. From many of the holes you can see the beach that many people were walking on. There is also a walking path that follows a few holes starting at the inverness fishing wharf.

After we finished the round, the girls went to check in for our room. Something was round, so they ask if we would wait at the bar with a round of free drink while they figured out things. Yes at $16 a drinks, sure. They even brought us a free appetizer.
We then checked into our room. Best room and probably most expensive we ever had. It was a 2 bedroom villa that was almost 1500 square foot. more pictures tomorrow as we enjoyed the patio watching golfers going by and the view of the golf course.
We headed down the road for supper at a micro brewery pub called Route 19
