Cape Breton - Day 8 The Cliffs

Started off the morning enjoying coffee and teas on the patio.  Could really get used to living like this. this place is gorgeous.

The ground crew hard at work

Tea with a view

The rakes are going in today.

We did not take advantage of the kitchen

Very big fridge and freezer on the left wood panels, A kitchen of my dream

View from the patio with fire pit we took advantage last night.

Hope to see you again

Today we are playing the second course at the resort. Yesterday we were blown away by the Links course. Today was just out of this world. Everything was just perfect in every way. Couse conditions were A1. Amazing views all over the place. Just a tad windy but that is expected due to where the course is located.

The clubhouse, a new one is in the works as far as we know

Driving range

Large practice green

Sofas overlooking the 18th hole.

The caddies are here.

Short par 3, hard to stop the ball with a front pin placement. Finished 80 feet from the hole

Very deep bunkers.

Signature  Hole, well one of them

From the pro tee.

Jean Guy putted from the top of the hill

We now head to Ilse Madame for 2 nights and staying at the Clairestone Inn. As soon as we got to the island the fog rolled in.

For supper we went to a small restaurant across and had some homestyle food not far from the Inn and then went for dessert at an Ice Cream Place.
