Day 4 - Singapore - SG Botanic Gardens

This morning we are off to the Botanical Gardens, the only Unesco Heritage Site in Singapore.  We are off early as it gets hot quickly and we knew there would be lots of walking.  The only charge was $5 to enter the orchid garden, which was so worth it.

Way too expensive for us to eat anywhere in the botanical gardens, outside the gates we found a good pub and had a nice lunch.  Andre ordered Indian food, he couldn't even eat one of the dishes it was so hot
Very expensive liquor in Singapore

Bottom right not edible for a Canadian, way too hot. Only eat the meat and a tiny bit of sauce

Many apartment buildings/hotels had green spaces outside
We had not explored the Quays yet, we are off to find Boat Quay and Clarke Quay
Lots of boats available for tourists, hardly saw anyone using them

Clarke Quay, we could have sat in any restaurant in a waterfront seat, it was so quiet.  Happy hour, finally had a Singapore sling
Singapore $ is equal to a Canadian $.  Good thing it was 2 for 1 happy hour.

Boat Quay on the right

Lots of Happy Hour here. Very Quiet. Got asked 20 times to sit down to eat or have a drink

We are terrible at selfies, this one turned out good :)

Ended up back at the Merlion for more shots

Idea for Limas flowers for next year

Back at the hotel and we hit the pool. For supper we went to the underground mall under the hotel.

The apartment building ac for resident to enjoy.ross us had a midway balcony with plants
