Day 10 to 13, Sea Days

Today we had a scheduled sea day to get to Vietnam.  The captain at some point announces that we are not cleared to stop at our first stop in Vietnam, so we are going to move on to our last stop which will add another sea day at the front end, and remove one at the end of the trip. We wake up on the morning we are supposed to be getting off the ship for our stop in Vietnam, only to find out Vietnam is not letting us get off at all.  We think it is because we had passengers that transited through Hong Kong or Taipei, or had Chinese passports.  Those people were all forced to leave the ship after the first day in Bangkok, but of course we had all mingled with them at this point.  We are so disappointed, Vietnam was one of the main reasons we picked this cruise, and now we have this suitcase to figure out what to deal with.  The ship is giving us small minutes of free wifi, you need to line up to get them, but I am able to pass on the news to Nicole that we are not going to make it Vietnam at all.  The suitcase becomes the talking point of many of our friends, along with eating and drinking we need to get through 4 sea days in a row!

Sea Day # 1

Buffet dining room, I think we only ate inside once, they had nice seating outside

Andre in the elevator, not sure when he snuck ride in

Entrance to theatre
Moscow mules came with candy ginger on the stir stick, I ordered many for the ginger so I wouldn't get seasick :)

Sushi making demo in the lobby, yes we were bored

Lunch in the non buffet restaurant

Are the hand railings for if it gets rough?  why is Andre obsessed with urinal pics?

Tonights show

Sea Day # 2

Starting the day off with a Caesar and a book

Pool area, we never even put on our bathing suits on the cruse, this does not interest me in one bit even when I look at the pic.

Todays cooking demo was Black Forest Cake

We had a free liquor package, not like an all inclusive where it is cheap brands

Sea Day # 3
Today we are supposed to take Nicoles suitcase on shore, it made it to the lobby, that is it

Crazy games to pass the time

We hung out a lot reading and playing cards where they held bingo.  Not much revenue here for the cruise ship, jackpot for full card never made it to $200 in all the games we heard.  Maybe 30 people were playing.

Excitement when we see a cargo ship or fishing boat at this point

Now calling the cruise A sunset cruise.

Loved this show Blazing Boots. A country show.

Sea Day # 4

We still kept up walking every day to get 10000 steps in.  It was hot, but all that eating and drinking we had to do a little bit of exercise

This is where we hung out a lot playing cards and reading.  Today we arrived to so many people, there were usually only about 20 people here.  The lady beside me said there was a gathering of people to discuss what we were going to do because of so many changes to the itinerary, and thoughts that the cruise should have been cancelled.  Petitions passed around, email addresses shared, letter prepared for the Captain to deliver to NCL etc. Over 1000 people ended up signing the letter that was delivered.

Visit to where we can view the bridge, no pictures allowed of the bridge
We are invited to a 50 anniversary dinner for Ron and Christine from Adelaide Australia,  we really are going to try to go visit them, they are a beautiful couple that would be great fun to spend more time with.
