What a day! Finally
some sun, with a little bit of cloud and showers every now and then, but still
an absolutely beautiful day.
I knew
there was going to be some single track driving tomorrow but I had no idea I
would have done so much already.
Definitely not for the faint of heart, but I am getting used to it
now. Very happy we have an automatic, I
am not even having nightmares this time like I did in Ireland when we had a
standard.
Today’s blog will be a blog of pictures mostly.
It was mostly a day of driving around Isle of
Skye with many many gorgeous stops and a few short hike walks to mix it up. Left at 8 this morning and got back at 7 in the evening, 115 miles.
Started
at the first stop with both Marc and Wendy stepping in sheep poop, but it did
get better after that!
Picnic lunch
today that we made at the apartment this morning before going for a walk on a coral beach.
A tour of the Talisker Scotch Distillery,
which Wendy passed on to have a nap in the car (yes really).
Looking for fairies at different spots on the
Island, and finishing up with delicious take out fish and chips on the wharf
back in Portree looking at the gorgeous harbour full of boats with beautiful
lighting.
