Up this morning and James has prepared a full English breakfast. We have definitely been very spoiled this week, back to regular cereal and fruit starting Monday. James is off to a rugby final today, Karen is doing errands so we decide to go to Kew Gardens. I had been here a few years ago and really enjoyed the day and I was pretty sure Andre would like it. We bought the tickets online last night, then discovered the PGA is close by today, oh well too late we're off to Kew. We had a fantastic day again, weather was beautiful again, and we walked 16 km's and still didn't cover everything. We did do the free walking tour with a guide for about 1.5 hours which was really good, she gave us lots of history on the gardens and pointed out some of the best places to visit.

A wedding was being held here today. I imagine it is a very popular spot. Also imagine that it is not cheap.

They did not let us crash the wedding |
We find our way back to the car rental place no problem, have checked into our hotel right in Gatwick Airport. Showers before supper, this is one of those hotel rooms that the bathroom is all in one, shower toilet and sink all get wet when you have a shower. We are on the inside, no window, so a little claustrophobic, it is smaller than an inside cabin room on a cruise. We just got back from supper in the airport, which was pretty good. We got a voucher for a free drink from the hotel, so a little bonus.
So we're off tomorrow at 9:30, quick stop in St. John's Nfld again, then Halifax, then drive home from Halifax. Great vacation again. would love to come back again some day, maybe explore the North which sounds like it is at least equally as beautiful...
