China - Travel Day Moncton to Beijing

So we've taken the plunge and booked an organized tour to China.  We booked through Sinorama Holidays on their 15 Day Imperial China tour, which visits Beijing, Xi'An, Wuhan, Jingzhou, Yangtze River, Chongqing, Suzou and Shanghai.   From what we can tell this will involved 3 internal flights in China, a 4 night cruise along the Yangtze River  and lots and lots of time on buses.  We had hoped to do this tour last October, but work commitments move us forward until now.

The nice thing about an organized tour is we have basically no decisions to make besides what to pack, oh and for Andre which camera lens' to bring (urgh)

We are also now proud owners of name tags, have we really reached that age?  Lets hope table 7 is a fun table, because that's who we will be eating with the entire 2 weeks!

Right now we have finished breakfast at the Chinese restaurant at the airport in Toronto.  Now only another 4 hours to kill.

Always fun to see the International side of the airport, means we are going somewhere exciting!

We got up at 4am this morning, it is going to be a very long 2 days of travel time, but we're really excited about all that we are going to see coming up. Oh for those of us that I told how excited I was because Andre was not sitting beside me on the plane, well plane change and new configuration, we are beside each other again.  13 hours to look forward to hearing my back is sore, I am tired, I have a headache.... (I better post soon before he reads this)

We know we won't have access to Facebook from China, we're not sure about access to the blog.  We will be trying to write daily, but may only be able to post when we get home.  We have different friends that have done this tour last year, and it doesn't sound like we will have much free time outside the tour, but maybe on the bus I will write to try to keep awake!
