Today we spent the day at the "Ojo de Agua beach club" where you pay 500 pesos for 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella but get 400 pesos back for food & beverage. I think the 4 days we were here we had to pay an extra 200 pesos or so extra as we had lunch and drinks.
Also spent the next 3 days here. On all 4 days we went snorkeling and the pictures have been posted on a separate blog.
The carnival is in town and we decided to walk up to it. It is in the ball park near the highway and a little over 2 kms walk from out Airbnb.
We had supper there and it was good. We went up on the ferris wheel but it was not cheap. 70 pesos which is about $5 Canadian. We were waiting for the activities to start around 7 but it started to rain a bit, so we decided to head back home as we had a long walk back.
